La dottrina pitagorica della metempsicosi nel 'De anima' di Aristotele

The contribution aims at reassessing the documentary and historical value of the passage from Aristotle's De anima, 407b20, a regards the Pythagorean doctrine of the transmigration of souls and, more generally, the importance of Aristotelian evedenc in relation to Pythagorean myth on metempsychosis. The importance of Aristotelian passage from De anima consist int he gfact that Aristotle uses a lexikon going back at least to V century BC

Il contributo intende rivalutare l'importanza documentaria e storica della testimonianza in Arist. De anima 407 b 20 ss. in relazione alla dottrina pitagorica della trasmigrazione delle anime e in generale il valore della testimonianza aristotelica sui miti pitagorici della metempsicosi. Il valore della testimonianza aristotelica consiste nel fatto che Aristotele su esprime attraverso un lessico filosofico che risale almeno al V secolo.
