The Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) technology represented a significant innovation for antenna measurements in the last years. So far, UAVs have been mainly exploited for the characterization of the radiation pattern of antennas and arrays up to C-band. An evolution of the system working in the Q-band is planned to be used for the validation of the future Survey TeneRIfe Polarimeter (STRIP) of the Large-Scale Polarization Explorer (LSPE), an Italian project. This contribution presents a payload solution and a preliminary test performed.

Abstract
The Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) technology represented a significant innovation for antenna measurements in the last years. So far, UAVs have been mainly exploited for the characterization of the radiation pattern of antennas and arrays up to C-band. An evolution of the system working in the Q-band is planned to be used for the validation of the future Survey TeneRIfe Polarimeter (STRIP) of the Large-Scale Polarization Explorer (LSPE), an Italian project. This contribution presents a payload solution and a preliminary test performed.File in questo prodotto:
