Abstract
This paper is focused to analyze some strategic issues about hydrogen production by thermochemical processes, with main attention devoted to Steam Reforming (SR) and Biomass Gasification (BG). The aim is to demonstrate that, in an early stage, the two mentioned processes are suitable opportunities for hydrogen production to be used for sustainable mobility applications. At the CNR-ITAE institute we have carried out research activity concerning the development of structured catalysts and compact reactors in order to maximize the hydrogen yield.File in questo prodotto:
