Come approvvigionare un castello sotto assedio nella Sardegna del XIV secolo

This study analyses the procedures and supplies to the forts under siege in the Regnum Sardiniae at the end of the fourteenth century. The information from the 14th-century archival documents related to this fortress are almost exclusively administrative and reflect everything that was closely related to the functions and defensive capabilities of a stronghold. However starting right from the exploration of the space and of the objects and trying to interpret, when possible, the same silence of the sources, it is indisputable that we can go back and reinvent the life inside a castle.

Il presente contributo analizza le modalità e gli approvvigionamenti alle fortezze sotto assedio nel Regnum Sardiniae alla fine del XIV secolo. I dati ricavabili dalla documentazione archivistica trecentesca relativa sono di natura quasi esclusivamente amministrativa e rispecchiano tutto ciò che era strettamente legato alle funzioni e alle capacita difensive di una roccaforte. Ma partendo proprio dall'esplorazione dello spazio e degli oggetti e cercando di interpretare, quando è possibile, gli stessi silenzi delle fonti, è indiscutibile che si possa risalire e reinventare la vita all'interno di un castello.
