This document contains the draft technical specific ations for the procurement of the Central Safety System for the management of the MITICA test bed and gener al Plant Units in the ITER Neutral Beam Test Facility. The MITICA Central Safety System implements a set of important protection functions related to personnel health and safety, both during and outside the operation of the MITICA test bed, providing continuous monitoring of potentially dangerous events, automated protection actions, and logging of events and data relevant for safety of people. The MITICA global operating states are also set in the MITICA Central Safety System. The MITICA Central Safety System manages no functions related to the MITICA conventional control or equipment protection.
