Within the Special Issue n.3 of the Journal Tracce Urbane on Spazi che abilitano/ Enabling Space, the Authors have developed a narrative of the discourse developed during the international conference "CITIES AND SELF-ORGANIZATION" (Rome, 2017 December 11th-13th) in which they have played the role of chairs and discussants as representatives of the AESOP Thematic Group "Public Space and Urban Cultures". The main topic has been "Enabling" Space. Dialogues and bridges between institutions and self- organized practices for a collaborative territorial planning.
