The Mind-City project aims at collecting unsolicited data sent in broadcast from people's devices. The goal is to enable easy-to-deploy collection campaign. Data collected reveal the proximity of a user with a location, and the aggregation of such information opens to some scenarios for the smart cities such as detecting dense locations, predicting mobility over the time and study the social attitude of people. This work summarizes the concept of Mind-City as well as a reference architecture.
