Abstract
Media present almost daily new indexes and rankings, which show the happiest, most livable, most safe or most sustainable cities. Close to these rankings it is possible to read those of most beautiful small towns, outstanding historical value sites, spectacular landscapes. Again, technology developers enrich this panorama with both app and software for smart tablets and phones capable to reconstruct images and make us to interact with real or invented sites or museums, often in part destroyed or disappeared for different reasons. The new technologies are also created as tools for socialization, improving wellbeing and urban livability. Moving from these premises, aim of this work is to illustrate the case study of the medieval burgh of Sovana and its updating.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
