In order to better understand if judicial networks can be conceived as actors involved in the EU legal and judicial integration, the paper identified and described the main mechanisms through which different types of networks concretely work; for each type of network specific example of practices, documents and activities contributing to the uniform application of EU law have been identified. In this way, the article aims to fill a gap in the existing works about judicial networks that generally describe them as potential tools for the EU legal integration without a deeper analysis of mechanisms, practices and powers exercised within different types of networks
