In this chapter we discuss Random Laser devices based on organic materials. After a brief introduction about the history and physics of random lasers (section 1.0.2), we describe the use of semiconductor materials for optoelectronics and photonics devices in term of physical-chemical properties, characteristics and advantages (section 1.0.3). In section 1.0.4 self-organization and lithographic processes are described for the realization of nanoscale organic random lasers. A selection of recent results are reported in sections 1.0.5 and 1.0.6.

Abstract
In this chapter we discuss Random Laser devices based on organic materials. After a brief introduction about the history and physics of random lasers (section 1.0.2), we describe the use of semiconductor materials for optoelectronics and photonics devices in term of physical-chemical properties, characteristics and advantages (section 1.0.3). In section 1.0.4 self-organization and lithographic processes are described for the realization of nanoscale organic random lasers. A selection of recent results are reported in sections 1.0.5 and 1.0.6.File in questo prodotto:
