Diffusion and viscosity-type collision integrals for interactions between atoms and ions of oxygen in ground and electronically excited states have been evaluated from the relevant potentials of the molecular and molecular ion states, respectively. The inelastic contribution to the diffusion collision integral has been also estimated, referring, for atom-(parent) ion collisions, to results for charge-exchange cross sections recently obtained by different authors.

Abstract
Diffusion and viscosity-type collision integrals for interactions between atoms and ions of oxygen in ground and electronically excited states have been evaluated from the relevant potentials of the molecular and molecular ion states, respectively. The inelastic contribution to the diffusion collision integral has been also estimated, referring, for atom-(parent) ion collisions, to results for charge-exchange cross sections recently obtained by different authors.File in questo prodotto:
