We report the identification of new camelina lines with improved seed qualitative traits i.e., increased omega-3/omega-6 ratio and decreased erucic acid and GLS contents. These new lines will pave the way to further studies broadening both the possible applications of camelina oil and cake into livestock feeding diets. Furthermore, these new genetic materials will also represent a source of interesting traits for future breeding programs.

Abstract
We report the identification of new camelina lines with improved seed qualitative traits i.e., increased omega-3/omega-6 ratio and decreased erucic acid and GLS contents. These new lines will pave the way to further studies broadening both the possible applications of camelina oil and cake into livestock feeding diets. Furthermore, these new genetic materials will also represent a source of interesting traits for future breeding programs.File in questo prodotto:
