The presentation reviews aspects of home cage analysis and reports on the different systems used by IMPC centers. A re-cap of discussions during work group (WG) teleconferences is aimed at finding common parameters to be included in the behavioral phenotyping pipeline at both adult and late onset time intervals as well as during the intervening period. The WG feels this is a new and exciting avenue for behavior testing as it removes much of environmental changes that adversely impact other behavioural tests. Home cage monitoring could be also important for the detection of circadian activity related phenotypes relevant to many human diseases.

Abstract
The presentation reviews aspects of home cage analysis and reports on the different systems used by IMPC centers. A re-cap of discussions during work group (WG) teleconferences is aimed at finding common parameters to be included in the behavioral phenotyping pipeline at both adult and late onset time intervals as well as during the intervening period. The WG feels this is a new and exciting avenue for behavior testing as it removes much of environmental changes that adversely impact other behavioural tests. Home cage monitoring could be also important for the detection of circadian activity related phenotypes relevant to many human diseases.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
