The aim of the present work was to prove the validity of the well know stochastic dosimetry method for a low frequency near-field source exposure scenario. The interest in this thematic has grown since it was found that domestic appliances could be relevant for children ELF-MF exposure levels. In details, it was conducted the assessment of children exposure variability caused by 10000 different positions of a hairdryer as near-field source, in order to test the goodness of the method.

Abstract
The aim of the present work was to prove the validity of the well know stochastic dosimetry method for a low frequency near-field source exposure scenario. The interest in this thematic has grown since it was found that domestic appliances could be relevant for children ELF-MF exposure levels. In details, it was conducted the assessment of children exposure variability caused by 10000 different positions of a hairdryer as near-field source, in order to test the goodness of the method.File in questo prodotto:
