Abstract
Membrane engineering is a well-established technology adopted in various scientific fields, resulting of great interest in hydrogen production and purification processes as well as in pre-combustion CO2 capture. This chapter focuses on the impact of membrane and membrane reactor technology combined to renewable feedstocks exploitation in the viewpoint of hydrogen economy development and the environmental protection, highlighting the benefits over the conventional technologies due to the application of the principles of the Process Intensification Strategy.File in questo prodotto:
