Contributo CNR-INM ai lavori del tavolo tecnico istituito dalla Regione Lazio sull'inquinamento diffuso nei Comuni di Pomezia e Ardea e territori limitrofi

In the municipalities of Pomezia, Ardea and neighboring areas, the existence of a large area of groundwater contamination by chlorinated substances of non-natural origin has been recognized by ASL RM6 and ARPA section of Rome since 2011: Trichlorethylene (TCE) and Tetrachlorethylene (PCE). Faced with this situation, the Lazio Region has set up a Technical Table on diffuse pollution by chlorinated solvents, composed of ASL RM6, ARPA Lazio, Città Metropolitana di Roma Capitale, Municipality of Pomezia, Municipality of Ardea, CNR-INM (ex INSEAN) , ISPRA, ACEA and with the support of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS). The Technical Table represents a moment of consultation for the sharing of information and choices, as well as the evaluation of results; in this context, in 2018 the CNR was entrusted with updating the geodatabase initially initiated by the ARPA section of Rome relating to the state of contamination of a large area. This report is the contribution of the CNR-INM to the work of the Technical Table set up by the Lazio Region on diffuse pollution in the municipalities of Pomezia and Ardea and neighboring areas. This contribution was requested by the Municipality of Pomezia on 9 September 2020 prot. 0089565, and relates to updated information on the state of contamination.

Nei comuni di Pomezia, Ardea ed aree limitrofe, è stata riconosciuta da ASL RM6 ed ARPA sezione di Roma, a partire dall'anno 2011, l'esistenza di un'ampia area di contaminazione delle acque sotterranee da sostanze clorurate di origine non naturale: Tricloroetilene (TCE) e Tetracloroetilene (PCE). A fronte di tale situazione la Regione Lazio ha costituito un Tavolo Tecnico sull'inquinamento diffuso da solventi clorurati, composto da ASL RM6, ARPA Lazio, Città Metropolitana di Roma Capitale, Comune di Pomezia, Comune di Ardea, CNR-INM (ex INSEAN), ISPRA, ACEA e con il supporto dell'Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS). Il Tavolo Tecnico rappresenta un momento di concertazione per la condivisione delle informazioni e delle scelte, nonché la valutazione dei risultati; in tale ambito nell'anno 2018 è stato affidato al CNR l'aggiornamento del geodatabase inizialmente avviato dall'ARPA sez. di Roma relativo allo stato di contaminazione di area vasta. Il presente report è il contributo del CNR-INM ai lavori del Tavolo Tecnico sull'inquinamento diffuso nei Comuni di Pomezia e Ardea e territori limitrofi, a seguito dell'affidamento al CNR-INM del geodatabase. Tale contributo è stato richiesto dal Comune di Pomezia del 9 settembre 2020 prot. 0089565, ed è relativo alle informazioni attualizzate sullo stato di contaminazione.
