Acoustic and underwater surveys evidenced ALDFG (Abandoned Lost or otherwise Discarded Fishing Gears) and other types of marine litter in a number,of rocky outcrops. Eight out fifteen investigated sites resulted to be affected by ghost nets. Over 300 ALDFGs were observed and photographed. Trawl nets were the most abundant, followed by ropes, tie-rods and other fishery related waste, gill nets and aquaculture waste.
