The presentation dealt with port community system and the role of data platform. During the discussion different issues were addressed: interoperability, security, reliability, trust and governance. Different perspectives of analysis have been offered such as Port Authority, Terminal operators, Liner shipping, freight forwarders, and other members of the port community. Data platforms represent strategic tools for the creation of port community. However, trust is a glue value in community building at local level. Port Authorities have crucial roles at this regard.
