The scope of the document is to provide the preliminary design of the SURPRISE demonstrator. The document also includes the consolidation of the demonstrator's requirements - which also take into account the end user's requirements . This document, together with the reconstruction algorithm , is the basis for the preliminary performance evaluation of the demonstrator. Finally, the present deliverable represents a fundamental step towards the detailed design and, in the end, the implementation of the SURPRISE demonstrator.
