A novel type of terahertz selective transmissive elements based on guided-mode resonances is presented. The filters are fabricated via standard photolithography on thin films of a low-loss cyclo-olefin polymer. The components are designed to operate in the sub-THz communication windows and they exhibit very high transmittance and quality factors. Moreover, they feature compact overall thickness, mechanical stability, and very low manufacturing cost.

Abstract
A novel type of terahertz selective transmissive elements based on guided-mode resonances is presented. The filters are fabricated via standard photolithography on thin films of a low-loss cyclo-olefin polymer. The components are designed to operate in the sub-THz communication windows and they exhibit very high transmittance and quality factors. Moreover, they feature compact overall thickness, mechanical stability, and very low manufacturing cost.File in questo prodotto:
