This presentation introduces special requirements for transport unit loaded with dangerous goods. In particular, it considers category N (motor vehicles with at least four wheels designed and constructed for the carriage of goods) and category O (Trailers, including semi-trailers). These units in no case include more than one trailer (or semi-trailer). It uses as references the European Agreement for International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), the EC Directive 2008/68/EC and the Regulation No 105 (UN/ECE). Then, it introduces and reviews the Individual Approval procedures. Finally, it describe the special requirements for vehicles intended for the transport of dangerous goods.
