In the complex historical panorama of late antique Sicily (4th-5th century ad), the contribution of the increasing archaeological data available is decisive to understand some very much debated socio-economic processes. The study on the productive and service sectors, which are connected to villas, farms and domus, is a useful tool of analysis on that regard.
