En aquest estudi es proposa l'edició de la traducció veneciana, fins ara inèdita, de l'"Epistola ad alexandrum de dieta servanda" transmesa pels manuscrits Cracòvia, Biblioteca Jagellonica, Ital. Quart. 62, i Nàpols, Biblioteca Nazionale, G VIII 67. Després d'una breu introducció, el text és acarat amb la tradició llatina i toscana, i se'n fa una anàlisi lingüística. L'edició es fonamenta en el manuscrit de Cracòvia, amb les lliçons concorrents del còdex de Nàpols en nota.
