New institutions and Urban Welfare

The speech is focused on the presentation of some research experiences and their respective evidences, selected among those that have contributed to provide a key to understanding the evolutionary dynamics of an emerging industrial sector, in this case that of a regional biotechnological community, of some urban digital manufacturing labs, and finally of some urban commons. Emphasis will be placed on the element common to all of them, which is the new strategies of collaboration for the exchange of knowledge and of the importance that, for the purposes of studying the sector, analyses based on the structure of the networks composed of the resulting ties may cover. A crucial reflection concerns the methodological choice followed both to making visible the networks and to evaluate their contribution to the formation of the result. The different testimonies will serve to dialogue on the new complex concept of Urban Welfare.

L'intervento è centrato sulla presentazione di alcune esperienze di ricerca e delle rispettive evidenze, selezionate tra quelle che hanno contribuito a fornire una chiave di lettura delle dinamiche evolutive di un settore industriale emergente, nella fattispecie quello delle biotecnologie di una regione italiana, della manifattura digitale cosi come si è articolata nelle diverse città italiane, e infine di alcuni beni comuni urbani. L'enfasi verrà posta sull'elemento comune a tutte che è quello definito dalle nuove strategie di collaborazione per lo scambio di conoscenze e dell'importanza che, ai fini dello studio del settore, possano ricoprire le analisi basate sulla struttura delle reti composte dai legami che ne derivano. Una riflessione cruciale riguarda la scelta metodologica seguita sia per portare alla luce le reti quanto per valutarne il contributo alla formazione del risultato. Le diverse testimonianze serviranno a dialogare sul nuovo concetto complesso di Benessere Urbano.
