Abstract
We propose a scheme for single-ended distributed fiber sensing based on stimulated Brillouin scattering, in which a fiber Bragg grating is used as wavelength-selective reflector. The proposed configuration requires access to only one end of the sensing fiber, and operates in the frequency domain. Measurements with a spatial resolution down to 1 m and sensing lengths up to 5 km are reported.File in questo prodotto:
