Integrating .it RDAP Server with OpenID Connect through Keycloak: experiences and expectations

The talk aims to present the experiences in integrating .it RDAP server with OpenID Connect authentication protocol. Integration is achieved by using one of the most known open source identity and access managers, namely Keycloak. After a brief introduction of Keycloak features and an overview of the motivations that led us to its adoption, the talk will address all the points to be considered to implement a secure OpenID Connect based REST service and, in particular, will focus on the integration of .it RDAP server with Keycloak. A short demo of an RDAP client acting as an OpenID End-User will complete the presentation.
