This session sums up the concepts on cost and benefit analysis. Adopting a regulation on cybersecurity, that imposes for example to comply to a list of countermeasures, implies costs and benefits. Costs are connected both to the supply of electricity and to security measures. Benefits are usually in the form of savings (avoided costs). The concepts will be operationalized by presenting the variables that have to be calculated, and by showing a hypothetical example
