Abstract
The paper proposes a new perspective in managing italian Cultural Heritage, following the Open Source metaphor and shifting from a "closeness" approach (where money income is directly produced through ticketing and royalies), to an "openness" one, aimed to promote indirect economic growth (merchandising, social exchange, etc.). Three examples are exposed, in the domain of: open hardware, open space, open funding; thus referring to the 3D printing devices, the open museum, the crowdfunding specifically designed for archaeological and museum purposes.File in questo prodotto:
