Abstract
X-ray photoelectron spectra have been measured for several transition-metal di- and perthiocarboxylates, and the binding energies of sulfur 2p orbitals are reported and discussed with regard to the nature of the coordination environment. "Bridging" sulfur atoms in perthiocarboxylate ligands are distinctly more positive than terminal sulfurs, and the charge distribution is consistent with a simple electrostatic model. © 1978.File in questo prodotto:
