This work presents the application of the GIS-based (spatial) Multicriteria Decision Analysis (SMCDA) to construct a GRP (i.e., susceptibility) map at European scale starting from proxy variables (already available in the literature or easily available on the web) affecting the global radon release. This approach does not suggest that soil Rn and permeability measurements should be bypassed, but it can easily and quickly used to define a general picture of GRP in the absence of direct measurements.

Abstract
This work presents the application of the GIS-based (spatial) Multicriteria Decision Analysis (SMCDA) to construct a GRP (i.e., susceptibility) map at European scale starting from proxy variables (already available in the literature or easily available on the web) affecting the global radon release. This approach does not suggest that soil Rn and permeability measurements should be bypassed, but it can easily and quickly used to define a general picture of GRP in the absence of direct measurements.File in questo prodotto:
