Polypyrrole is a conjugated polymer that shows excellent electrical conductivity. The electrical conductivity is an intrinsic property of PPy because of its conjugated chemical structure. PPy can be deposited onto textiles (e.g. fibres, yarns, fabrics, non-wovens) by a direct in-situ chemical deposition. PPy-coated textiles have been used for producing heating, EMI shielding and antistatic fabrics, and in developing wearable devices like fibre-shaped dye-sensitized solar cells and sensors.

Abstract
Polypyrrole is a conjugated polymer that shows excellent electrical conductivity. The electrical conductivity is an intrinsic property of PPy because of its conjugated chemical structure. PPy can be deposited onto textiles (e.g. fibres, yarns, fabrics, non-wovens) by a direct in-situ chemical deposition. PPy-coated textiles have been used for producing heating, EMI shielding and antistatic fabrics, and in developing wearable devices like fibre-shaped dye-sensitized solar cells and sensors.File in questo prodotto:
