The conservation of cultural heritage needs technical and scientific tools based on multidisciplinary approaches that allow to achieve a widespread knowledge of artefacts. Digital models of built heritage can be implemented through these tools. These models represent information management platforms able to provide an assessment on the state of health of structures and to define necessary measures to ensure their conservation. In this paper some results of the research carried out on the Carthusian Monastery of Trisulti are provided. Attention is paid to the digital model based on the outcomes of the research that has designed and implemented as an effective support for the knowledge process and the structural performance assessment.

Abstract
The conservation of cultural heritage needs technical and scientific tools based on multidisciplinary approaches that allow to achieve a widespread knowledge of artefacts. Digital models of built heritage can be implemented through these tools. These models represent information management platforms able to provide an assessment on the state of health of structures and to define necessary measures to ensure their conservation. In this paper some results of the research carried out on the Carthusian Monastery of Trisulti are provided. Attention is paid to the digital model based on the outcomes of the research that has designed and implemented as an effective support for the knowledge process and the structural performance assessment.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
