This paper reports a system for the determination of positions and velocities of particles flowing in a rectangular-section microfluidic impedance cytometer. Vertical positions are measured electrically using coplanar electrodes integrated in the microchannel, while transverse positions are measured optically using a high-speed camera mounted on an inverted microscope. The system operates at high-throughput and could be used as a quantitative tool in inertial microfluidics and separation studies. ? 17CBMS-0001.

Abstract
This paper reports a system for the determination of positions and velocities of particles flowing in a rectangular-section microfluidic impedance cytometer. Vertical positions are measured electrically using coplanar electrodes integrated in the microchannel, while transverse positions are measured optically using a high-speed camera mounted on an inverted microscope. The system operates at high-throughput and could be used as a quantitative tool in inertial microfluidics and separation studies. ? 17CBMS-0001.File in questo prodotto:
