Methods: All children with recurrent abdominal pain diagnosed with EALN were enrolled at the involved centres between September 2017 and June 2018. Number, size, localisation, shape and architecture of nodes were accurately recorded along with clinical and laboratory data at enrolment and after three and six months.
Aim: Paediatric evidence about the clinical implications of enlarged abdominal lymph nodes (EALN) is not univocal. The main purpose of our study was to evaluate the clinical significance and the morphological evolution of enlarged abdominal nodes in children with recurrent abdominal pain.
