Law No. 15 of 16 June 2016 introduced into the Criminal Code a new aggaravting circumstance to the offense of racial discrimination, which consists in denial of the Holocaust and other serious crimes as described in international customary or conventional rules, wiyh special reference to the relevant provisions of the Statute of the International Criminal Court. The work illustrates the debate in the Parliament on the draft bill later approved as Law No. 15, paying special attention to the relationship between the provisions introduced into the Criminal Code and the relevant international legal framework.
