Cis-1-chloro-2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (R1224yd (Z)) is an interesting alternative nonflammable refrigerant suggested for use in centrifugal chillers, binary cycle, organic Rankine cycle (ORC), and high-temperature heat pumps, as well as blowing agent, for its very low ozone depleting potential (ODP), that is almost zero, and a global warming potential (GWP) lower than 1. Three sets of data have already been published in the literature. Herein, 31 new saturated pressure data for temperatures between 293.15 and 353.15 K are presented, down to temperatures 17 K lower than the previous data. These results are fitted to Wagner-type equation and compared with literature data.
