Abstract

This paper studies the electromagnetic compatibility in a high gain coupled inductors DC/DC power converter without using electromagnetic interference (EMI) filters. Several harmonic control techniques have been implemented in switched power circuits by researchers. In this paper, an optimized programmed pulse width method by using the heuristic Genetic Algorithm is proposed. The optimization must allow reducing the output voltage EMI of the converter and complying the EMC standard limits. Mathematical description of the optimization method is reported and simulation results are presented.
