This article introduces the Secure Interoperable Full-Stack Internet of Things for Smart Home(SIFIS-Home) project, which defines and enforces privacy and security policies in a smart homeenvironment. SIFIS-Home allows users to control data privacy and developers to provide privacy-awareservices to mitigate the privacy risk of a globalized smart home by leveraging the concept of the smarthome cyberperimeter.
