Abstract
Well-preserved radiolarian faunas have been extracted from twelve sections in Middle and Upper Jurassic cherts of the sedimentary cover of ophiolites in the Mirdita area of northern Albania. The radiolarians are late Bajocian-early Oxfordian in age. Thirty-two radiolarian species are illustrated; thirteen species are described as new, the remainder are discussed informally. The ranges of all taxa are correlated with the Unitary Associations Zones (UAZ) of Baumgartner et al. (1995).File in questo prodotto:
