Lethal and sublethal effects of Bacillus Thuringiensis Berliner ssp. aizawai on Spodoptera littoralis (Boisduval) (lepidoptera: Noctuidae) larvae in extended laboratory test. In order to evaluate lethal and sublethal effects of Bacillus Thuringiensis ssp. aizawai on Spodoptera littoralis, two different extended laboratory tests were carried out on two larval instars (I and V), with two different toxin concentrations. Results sugges that B.t. ssp. aizawai may be a good alternative to B. t. ssp. Kurstaki, even thought both products showed a limited control of the fifth larval instar.
