The national guidelines for the identification of quiet areas in open countryside require a holistic approach based not only on acoustic aspects but also on other non-acoustic ones (perception, soundscape, visual contact with nature). This paper describes an example of an assessment of the interference of individual noise events in mountain areas of the Aosta Valley through the acoustic descriptors "Intermittency Ratio (IR)" and "Harmonica (HRM)".
Le linee guida nazionali per l'individuazione delle zone silenziose in aperta campagna prescrivono un approccio olistico basato non solo sugli aspetti acustici ma anche su altri non acustici (percezione, soundscape, contatto visivo con la natura). In questa memoria si fornisce un esempio di valutazione dell'interferenza di singoli eventi di rumore in aree montane della Valle d'Aosta mediante i descrittori acustici "Intermittency Ratio (IR)" e "Harmonica (HRM)".
