The five-year research project "Masgaba, carried out with the scientific direction of the Soprintendenza Archeologia,Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the metropolitan area of Naples, the funding and support of the municipalities of Capri andAnacapri, and the collaboration with the Apragopolis association and the CNR in Rome, aims to recover all the informationuseful for reconstructing and assessing the island's territory and ancient landscape with the intention of developingsynergies useful for the preservation and enjoyment of its archaeological heritage. Within such a rich and complex archaeologicallandscape, the project is focusing on sites already known from literature and previous reconnaissance andon new evidence that is emerging in the course of research.
