The aim of this work was the introduction of mobile technologies to highlight a plant germplasm collection. We positioned a series of isocards in a 6 ha vineyard situated in Arezzo (Tuscany), where 420 different grapevine accessions of Vitis vinifera (L.) were collected. A database (MySQL®) was specially created and the web collection platform was developed using LAMP architecture. Through QR code and NFC technologies on the cards, a smartphone was used to identify and find out informations about each plant datasheet. The technological model developed in this work allows free online public access and researchers or customers can use the described system to investigate the agronomic, ampelometric and genetic characteristics of each vine.

Abstract
The aim of this work was the introduction of mobile technologies to highlight a plant germplasm collection. We positioned a series of isocards in a 6 ha vineyard situated in Arezzo (Tuscany), where 420 different grapevine accessions of Vitis vinifera (L.) were collected. A database (MySQL®) was specially created and the web collection platform was developed using LAMP architecture. Through QR code and NFC technologies on the cards, a smartphone was used to identify and find out informations about each plant datasheet. The technological model developed in this work allows free online public access and researchers or customers can use the described system to investigate the agronomic, ampelometric and genetic characteristics of each vine.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
