The paper reports about the conditions for the development of magnetic Islands observed in the main heating phase of JET experiments performed with different mix of D and T. Presence of magnetic Islands can reduce the confinement, their occurrence has been observed along the evolution of the two main scenarios explored at JET from the 2018 high power campaign in D until the 2021 campaign in D-T, which were aimed at sustaining high plasma thermal energy for >=5s. The contribution will detail if magnetic Islands occur after a trigger event -like a sawtooth crash, an ELM or a Fishbone instability- or if they grow spontaneously or as consequence of other MHD and about the interplay with high Z impurities.
