The presentation shows various numerical techniques, used in CNR - ICMATE Padova, to simulate thermoelectic effect to evaluate materials performance and design devices for TE generation. Software and libraries implemented in Matlab for the calculation of thermoelectric devices are described, Besides, Finite Element techniques to take into account all thermal contributions in a multiphysic 3D simulation are shown.

Abstract
