Castor (Ricinus communis L.) is a member of the Euphorbiaceae family that is found across all the tropical and semi-tropical regions of the world. Castor is considered to be one of the most promising nonedible oil crop, due to its high annual seed production and yield, and adaptability to semiarid climate and adverse growing conditions. This research compared 28 castor genotypes originating from the Mediterranean basin. The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized blocks design with four replicates.
