Biblioteche virtuali per utenti reali

The X NILDE National Conference "Virtual libraries for real users" on Document Delivery and interlibrary collaboration was held in Pavia, May 30-31, 2019, hosted by the University of Pavia. This book contains extended abstracts of the talks presented during the conference, the panel session, and the poster presentations. The aim of the event was to extend the virtual network to other types of library and other important institutions that operate locally, which are not necessarily part of a known information channel. Accessibility to digital resources and inclusion were extensively discussed within the various sessions scheduled for the conference: "Enhanced library networks", "NILDE Session", "Users in the web", and "Face to face with users". Round table discussions highlighted the problems of publisher contracts and open access for scientific literature. In regard to Document Delivery, NILDE (Network for Interlibrary Document Exchange) was highlighted as a service of excellence for knowledge sharing and information transfer, as well as a reference community for Italian libraries mainly involved in the fi elds of health, science, and other academic disciplines, yet open to the extensive resources of the civic libraries.

Il X CONVEGNO NILDE sul Document Delivery e la cooperazione interbibliotecaria "Biblioteche virtuali per utenti reali" è stato ospitato dall'Università di Pavia nei giorni 30-31 maggio 2019. Questo volume raccoglie gli abstract estesi delle presentazioni orali, della tavola rotonda e i poster. Obiettivo dell'evento è stato quello di estendere il network anche ad altre tipologie di biblioteche e a significative realtà presenti sul territorio, non sempre inserite in un palese circuito informativo. I temi dell'accessibilità alle risorse digitali e dell'inclusione sono stati ampiamente trattati all'interno delle varie sessioni previste dal convegno: "Reti bibliotecarie potenziate", "Sessione NILDE", "Utenti nel web", "A tu per tu con gli utenti". La discussione all'interno della tavola rotonda ha evidenziato i problemi relativi alla contrattazione con gli editori e dell'accesso aperto alla letteratura scientifica. Nell'ambito del Document Delivery, NILDE si conferma essere un servizio d'eccellenza per la condivisione del sapere e la circolazione dell'informazione, nonché una comunità di riferimento per i bibliotecari italiani impegnati principalmente nel settore sanitario, scientifico, accademico e comunque aperto ai grandi patrimoni delle biblioteche civiche.
