From the laboratory to the sales-catalogs it is a very long journey, and for those who, like us, have a scientific vision of things, it can be difficult to sail between investors and patent offices, between business plans and plant scalability. Herein, a brief account of how it was possible to increase the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of CrioPura resins over the last 8 months [1,2]. The technological pathway for the commercial finalization of our project consists of many steps where funding raising becomes crucial. We started out with simple market research and then we have overcome important obstacles, such as prototyping systems as well as the search for technical and commercial partners. At this point, the contribution of an industrial consultant was necessary to learn how to translate our scientific data into both industrial and commercial languages. Competitive Advantage, Value Proposition, Impact Assessment, and other key points were analyzed, considering different aspects never faced before. Nevertheless, these processes were achieved with noteworthy results. Finally, we dealt with the business plan creation as well as the CrioPurA promotion to capture the interest of potential investors
