The data relating to the presence of textiles in Punic tombs in the Punic Mediterranean are not very numerous,as are those of tools related to weaving, but they are elements of great interest that allow us to develop some analyses oftheir use and meaning in the context of burial rites.With this contribution we wish to draw attention to the importance of this documentation, which, if properly studied,can contribute to the reconstruction of Punic funerary ideology between the 4th and 2nd century BC.
