In this study the resuslts of a campaign held in Hyytyala Finalnd were reported. The campaign was aimed at assessing the formation of Secondary Organic Aerosols (SOA) from monoterpenes emitted from plants. Episodes were indeed detected in which fine particles were formed. Their formation was proven by the enhanced presence of secondary oxidation products of monoterpenes in particles.
